This was our 15th points race of the season.  Wow, the year is just flying by.  We had some good races and we had some races that were plagued with cautions.  More than one driver had major mechanical issues with their car.  One photo I captured shows the drive shaft flying out of the back of Bobby Wolf’s car.  A couple of cars blew engines and Brent Bates went for a wild ride in his #17 sprint car coming out of turn 4.  Fortunately Brent was alright, unfortunate for me I was at the other end of the race track and didn’t get any photos of it.  The super stocks only had a 9 lap A-feature.  Even though it was only 9 laps it took them over 40 minutes.  Some nights seem to go smoother than others, and this just wasn’t one of those nights for the super stocks.  All in all it was a beautiful night, the air was cool and the track was in good shape.  I hope everyone had a good time and hope to see you all next week.
