Taken at Keystone Lake on October 5th 2008
Our goal for this outing was to take pictures of the pelicans that migrate south for the winter. I live out by Keystone Lake, and had seen about 200 pelicans on the Thursday before we went on our photo shoot on Sunday. But, when we got there Sunday, there were not very many around. I think that the people who were fishing had scared them off. So, not to be deterred by that we went to the state park, in Prue, OK. We found some great old dead trees and lots and lots of stickers. There was also lots of trash laying around, which is so sad to see. So, we took advantage of all the opportunities that were before us and ended up with some great shots.
